Mission Statement
ABRET seeks to encourage, establish and maintain the highest standards, traditions and principles of Clinical Electroencephalography, Evoked Potential Technology, and Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring by administering comprehensive examinations consistent with accepted credentialing standards that measure recognized competency levels for technologists.
ABRET offers the LAB Accreditation Program as a demonstration that a laboratory has met all standards set by ABRET in the performance of electroencepahographic studies such as employing skilled and qualified staff, developing a quality assurance plan, and adhering to accepted practice standards.
