ABRET expects that candidates for the CLTM examination possess skills beyond entry level. The CLTM examination is for the advanced level R. EEG T. who has had at least one year of experience in a Long Term Monitoring Unit (LTM).
ABRET expects that candidates have been an active participant in the set-up, monitoring and review of neurophysiologic long term monitoring cases.
ABRET expects that the candidate's experience includes bedside monitoring, ambulatory EEG monitoring, and EEG monitoring in the ICU.
ABRET expects that candidates read and follow all instructions in the Candidate Handbook.
ABRET randomly audits applications and contacts the supervisor to verify information and documentation.
