In order to take the EEG and EP exams, technologists must meet ONE of the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a student or graduation of a CAAHEP-accredited END Program *
- Provide proof of at least an associate's degree plus one year of experience in END
- Have at least three years of experience in END
In order to take the CNIM exam, technologists must meet the following eligibility requirements by the application deadline:
- Documentation of 100 surgical cases monitored. The candidate must be present and an active participant in the set-up and monitoring of each case listed
- 2. R. EEG T., R. EP T., RNCST, or RET (Canadian EEG credential) OR a Bachelor's degree
A copy of current registration, certification, or license OR verification of bachelor’s degree must accompany the application.
