ABRET Executive Director Earns CAE
Washington, DC, July 3, 2014 – ASAE has announced that Janice Walbert, Executive Director of ABRET: Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) credential. The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

Exam Scoring & Results
The passing (cut) scores are not published, as they can vary with the difficulty level of the exam. The Board sets the passing standard as the number of test questions it determines to be necessary for candidates to answer correctly in order to be considered at least minimally competent. This method focuses on the particular test that is being administered.

CLTM Earns National Accreditation
The American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) is pleased to announce that the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) has granted accreditation to the ABRET CLTM program for a period of five years.

LAB-LTM Accreditation
The LAB-LTM Board is ready to start accepting applications. The Long-term monitoring (LTM) Board of ABRET accredits (1) Epilepsy Monitoring and (2) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Critical Care EEG monitoring laboratories. An additional designation will be given for laboratories performing invasive Epilepsy Monitoring.
